Jungle Gym for Community School, South Africa
Mainstream Renewable Power South Africa donated playground equipment to Loeriesfontein Primary School. The Grade R learners received the new jungle gym as a replacement for the rundown playground apparatus.
The timber jungle gym, costing over R43,00 includes fibreglass slides, various climing frames, platform areas with roofs, cargo net for clambering, monkey bars, tyre swings under platforms and tunnelling areas. The jungle gym will assist the learners in developing their gross motor skills as part of their development.
In addition to replacing the jungle gym, Mainstream recruited three local labourers to assist in assembling the installation of the jungle gym. Mainstream South Africa is responsible for the development of Loeriesfontein wind farm in the Northern Cape.
