The Algeria Renewable Energy & Power Infrastructure Investment Conference 2017 will take place in Algiers on 1 March 2017. Algeria has announced its plan to install up to 22 gigawatts of renewable energy capacity by 2030. The country aims to generate 27% of its energy needs from renewables by this time, mainly through the developments of solar and wind technologies. Biomass and geothermal energies will be further addressed as well. The proposed conference will present an updated outlook on the regulatory framework for the sector and include the following topics.
