Mainstream has offices in Manila, The Philippines and Hanoi, Vietnam supporting its SE Asia projects.
In Vietnam, Mainstream is developing the 800MW Phu Cuong offshore wind project with local developers, the Phu Cuong Group. The Phu Cuong project will be the largest wind project in Vietnam and will be delivered in three phases. Phase 1, 180MW will reach financial close in 2019. View our Vietnam page here.
In Manila, the company is developing 120MW of wind projects and progressing further wind and solar projects. View our Philippines page here.
The Asia region is characterised by rapid and significant economic growth, which is driving an equivalent need for increased electricity generation capacity. Compared to other parts of the world, excluding China and India, the region has very little installed wind or solar capacity, representing a substantial opportunity for Mainstream.
